My Angel

there's an angel in my house
one with a dirty face
her smile brightens any room
and her laughter warms my heart

there's an angel in my home
with her halo and wings askew
she snuggles into my arms
healing me with her love

there's an angel in my heart
her eyes show love's light brightly
saying i love you mommy
bringing heaven in my home
